3 Strikes. You’re out, Jack!

batting-imageR1In baseball, normal people know it’s a bad idea to let the batter call his own balls and strikes. Normal people see the need for an umpire. But not the guy who strikes out all the time. He wants to call balls and strikes. He’s  always complaining about the umps.

So it goes with the democrat party in Carroll County. Their ideas keep striking out with intelligent Carroll voters at the ballot box. And they complain so loudly about our terrific umpires like Richard Rothschild and Robin Frazier. Do democrats learn from their failures at the plate? Do they re-think their ideas?

Ha! Of course not.

What they do is instruct their candidates to switch from Democrat to Republican Party, and they tell voters what they want to hear, not what they plan to do once in office.  They tell us what “nice guys” their candidates are, never focusing on meaningful accomplishments, presumably because there are none.

Sadly the democrat-loving Carroll County Times jumps on the bandwagon. How many letters to the editor have been published telling us Richard Rothschild’s write-in opponent is a nice guy?

Richard Rothschild and Robin Frazier are two exceptional Carroll County Commissioners that have done so much good for the county. They’ve fought the good fight of lowering taxes and defending our individual liberties. Do Carroll residents pay the stupid Rain Tax? NO! Thank you commissioners Rothschild and Frazier. They led that charge.

Rothschild and Frazier have been terrific stewards of the people’s treasury. They opposed subsidized housing projects and mass-transit from Baltimore. They fought to slow urbanization of our county.  They fought to give parents choice when it came to educating their children.

It seems to me that democrats desire their pro-government-union comrades elected into public office.  Government-union plants in charge of the people’s treasury?  That’s the batter calling his own balls and strikes. It’s a bad idea. Strike that. It’s a very, VERY bad idea.

On November 4th, I’m proudly voting for Richard Rothschild in district 4. I’m encouraging neighbors to do the same. I’m also encouraging family and friends in District 1 to write-in Robin Frazier; and in District 5, I’m encouraging friends to write-in a true patriot’s name, Cathey Allison.

There is one democrat running for office I support – Vince Pacelli for Sheriff. He’s accomplished and, to the best of my knowledge, not backed by a government union.

Sincerely,

Patrick DiNenna

Elect Vince Pacelli for Sheriff in Carroll County

Vote for Vince Pacelli for Sheriff in Carroll County.   Keep Carroll Conservative (KCC)  recommends this Mr. Pacelli.  For us, it’s not a democrat / republican thing.  It’s about which candidate supports our citizens’ individual, unalienable rights – the conservative position.  The liberal candidate supports whatever the nanny state tells him (or her) to do.  (Watch the video.  You’ll see.)

Thank You Commissioner Rothschild

Commissioner Rothschild is one of the few elected officials I’ve seen in my life that keeps his promises.

Liberals oppose him because he uses his knowledge and expertise to advance values that made our country great; honesty, integrity, fiscal responsibility, and an understanding of the state and federal constitutions. He exemplifies the ideal that elected officials are fiduciaries and public trustees. These are not sound bites. They are fundamental character traits every elected official must possess.

Commissioner Rothschild values education and our children. He believes parents should decide where their children go to school. He believes local parents should control education, not the federal government and Common Core. Most importantly he has proven he makes decisions based on principles rather than populist whims.

Rothschild repeatedly asked the Board of Education to reduce infrastructure costs and overhead because of declining enrollments. Consequently, the Board of Education attacked Rothschild because he is trying to fulfill his duties to his constituents by questioning the BoE’s endless demands for more taxpayer money though enrollment is steadily declining.

Rothschild is arguably the only remaining commissioner willing to stand-up for fiscal responsibility. He places principles first and is willing to risk popularity in order to protect the financial well-being of our government, schools, and taxpayers.

The write-in candidate’s website says nothing about his position on finance, budgeting, gun-rights, property rights, government mandates, or waste disposal. Nothing! We do know he is a lifelong democrat that recently re-registered as a Republican specifically to oppose conservatives during the primary. His claim that teachers haven’t received any increases for five years is a bald face lie. During the past three years, most teachers received a step increase; a 2.5% bonus; and a 3% bonus. I’m sick and tired of the one-sided propaganda spread by liberal candidates that are nothing but impostors who lie and deceive the people. Naturally, if the write-in candidate blatantly lies and deceives voters by switching political parties then why should any sane person believe the write-in candidate would govern any differently?

Rothschild has governed with integrity. Dan Bongino described him as, “the model for what all Republicans should strive for in Maryland“. Ellen Sauerbrey said, “Rothschild understands what made America great and fights tirelessly to preserve the fundamental principles of limited government and personal freedom. He has demonstrated great courage under fire”.

I agree with Dan and Ellen.

Thank you Commissioner Rothschild.

Carroll’s Crisis in State Aid to Education

Education-funding

The CCEA (Carroll County Education Association) is overwhelmingly democrats.  Unfortunately, the drop in State funding to Carroll County is the result of democrats.  CCEA’s proposed solution to our funding problem?  You guessed it.  Elect more democrats.

Please read the full, eye-opening story here.

Vote for intelligent, unbiased leadership for all in Carroll County, not just special interest groups like the CCEA, vote for conservatives.  They are not beholden to the government unions.

For Commissioners, vote for Richard Rothschild (district 4), Robin Frazier (write-in, district 1), or Cathey Allison (write-in, district 5).

For Board of Education, vote for George Harmening, Charles Nason and James Roenick.

Carroll Education Facts

fedupwithcommoncorePlease checkout this video.  It contains a lot of important info about public schools in Carroll County that you’re just not going to hear from the ultra-left Carroll County Times and the Carroll County Education Association (CCEA), also far-left leaning, politically.

George Harmening, Jim Roenick and Bud Nason for School-Board have pledged to make teacher salaries a higher priority than the current board. The money is there. But now we’re going to build more schools? We really need a focus on excellence in education and need people with more financial expertise.

Government Unions and Their Candidates Caught In Bed Together?

Here’s evidence suggesting they have been.

Back in June 2014, government unions encouraged their members, who are overwhelmingly registered as democrats, to switch parties and vote for their union-backed candidates who are running as republicans.  Why did they do this?  Why not simply run their candidates as democrats?  The answer is government unions know the people of Carroll overwhelmingly vote for republicans.  They know democrat-party candidates never win in Carroll.  So they figured out they need to run democrats as Republicans.

Here’s an email that doesn’t bode well for them.  Click the picture here to see a full image.

Did you know government unions are working this hard against you – to keep conservative candidates out of races?  Their objective is to elect candidates who will spearhead efforts to unionize Carroll’s government members (against you).

Now that you know what’s going on, we ask you to vote for true Conservatives come November 2014, which is just around the corner.  Your wallet is at stake!  The purpose of this site is to identify true conservatives running in upcoming elections.

Aren’t you fed up with candidates for public office who aren’t what they claim to be?  We sure are!  Don’t vote for democrats running as republicans.

When Unions Back Candidates, Tax-payers Lose

It’s our opinion that when government unions back union-friendly candidates, it’s the tax-payers who lose big-time.  Unfortunately, this is going on in Carroll County right now.

Please check out this story.   When a teacher tries to leave her teacher’s union, she’s bullied and intimidated.   The reason she leaves the union is because she doesn’t like the union’s politics, not one bit.  We at KCC don’t like what they’re up to, either.

From the linked article:

What troubles me is the union is so involved in politics that they use our money to put a lot of those government officials into their jobs. Now the union is bargaining with officials who have been put in their spot by union money, and they’re union-friendly,” she said. “You have union-friendly officials on the other side, and taxpayers aren’t represented, and they’re bargaining with taxpayer money. I think that’s political.

We think it is ridiculous, too.  And it’s the main reason so many states and towns are broke.  They can’t afford all the goodies pro-union government officials gave government union members – ridiculously high salaries, Cadillac benefits, and unrealistic pensions.

If you’re like us, and you don’t like the sound of it, please consider voting for candidates we recommend.

Keep Carroll Conservative supports candidates who are beholden to all citizens, not special-interest groups like government unions.
